Mission
Our primary mission is to protect and preserve the natural treasures of Vieques and the surrounding areas through the promotion and development of conservation initiatives that educate and build upon the important bond between humans and the environment.

We strive to focus on environmental education, scientific research and technical assistance to governmental, private and community organizations. We provide Vieques' visitors with information on flora, conservation, and the wildlife of the island. The development of Eco-Tourism activities is of great importance to Vieques, and we work with local youth to train them in the field of biology, conservation, and environmental interpretation in preparation of a future in the tourism industry.
